A slice of spoken word 2: "Bite Me"
52Swallow me swirled with crimson creativity
I think everyone has had those moments in their marriage where they get so fed up and so stressed out because of finances and other outward stresses pressing their way into the walls of the home...some until the structure implodes.
Bite Me
Bite Me
Bite my tongue because
I'm tired of gashing away at the
meat of it...
attempting not to
say what comes to mind because...
sometimes
I forget I'm a lady.
I forget my femininity and I
simply wanna cuss you out.
But truly,
I'm soft...bite me like
teeth on glass...
leaving only indentations of your molars.
I wanna
tell you where to go and
how to get there, wanna
tell you how many coves of carnality to
dive into.
I wanna scream and holler at you,
cuss at you,
beat small fists upon big burly chest
on you...
sometimes
I wish I were a man
just so I could fight you.
Bite me,
I hope the bitterness bites back to the point that
your mouth bleeds and will not concede from the pain
for days and days.
Bite me, I hope my
tissues make you choke and if they
find their way to your digestive system...
I hope you get botulism...I hope that
the parasitic bullshit you've subjected me to
seeps directly into your stomach lining...
bite me, my dear....
just bite me.
