Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell: "My biggest goal is to make Obama a one-time President"

President Barack Obama and his platform have been a breath of clean fresh air in the smog ridden shadow of the days when Republicans controlled every portion of he government. The Republicans promise preemptive war, oil executives determining climate change police, and waterboarding.

Our President was elected in 2008 by the people as the people prayed over and clung to the possibility that he just may be the one to clean up the complete 8 year disaster that former President George Bush left behind. But Obama has been under incredible scrutiny because according to many Americans, he ha not made thing happen quickly enough. The Republicans, along with the many corporations and special interests which they cater to are surging as one and making it their personal focus to get Obama out of office.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell claims that his focus is to be sure that Obama is a one-term office holder. Instead of focusing on the educational incompetency all of our children face all across America, instead of speaking on creating jobs for all of the unemployed (and some homeless, thus focusing on decreasing the amount of beds needed in shelters which are closing and/or facing closure at an alarming rate), instead of focusing on resolutions to the many wars Americans are now fighting in, McConnell's has proclaimed his sole focus is to make sure Obama is NOT re-elected in 2012.

McConnell even has a website dedicated to trashing anything that Obama says or does. The website is: http://www.impeachobamacampaign.com. On the site, every move our President makes, every word he spits from his lips in each speech, are all scrutinized.

When will America realize that Barack Obama is not the Messiah? He is not the second coming of Christ. It took eight years for George W. Bush to make a war torn atrocity of our United States of America, and those who DID vote for Barack Obama, need to maintain their loyalty to the man who was given the most demanding job in America with the most challenges as well.

Very well said Marie. President Obama inherited an economy that was collapsing and he stabilized it. It will take a long while to grow this broken system but to turn back to the Republicans would be a disaster. Their policies of handing all wealth to the rich and removing all regulations led to the mess we are in now. Democrats must stick with the President and run hard in 2012 to defeat these reactionaries. It will be a disaster for America if he loses.

We need to vote some of these Republicans in Congress out of office. Look at what some of the Tea Party people are coming up with too.

Obama did straighten out the car industry. At least here in Michigan things are much better for all of the suppliers to that industry. You can't say he hasn't done anything.

I think even though the economy is still bad, it is better than when he went into office. There are still foreclosures, but not as bad as they were.

I would love to make Turtle soup out of him and feed it to my dog. He is a piece of garbage.

When I was unemployed he voted against the unemployment extensions I needed badly. He fought for me to be homeless. I will never forgive him. In the end that time in my life turned me to the left.

Anyone But Obama - 2012

Your analysis is woefully inept. The liberals commenting here are most ignorant. When you vote for a democRat, you vote for tyranny.
